Another fantastic visit with my guys! Simple oil change and fix a slow right rear tire leak but.... Mr.Forster can you come back here? Transmission cooler lines were leaking. Trans shifts bad when this happens. One way was very expensive but Plan B was not. Ordered parts from NAPA, went to work, and I was down the road in a safe vehicle in 2 hours!! Does YOUR current shop do this for YOU!? So why are you still going THERE!? Great solid, affordable shop. If your going anywhere else your paying too much and not getting as good as work to your car!!

We have now brought three cars to Gages Lake Auto for inspection and/or repair. They are very thorough and explain the work that needs to be done and why. They are also helpful with determining the importance of work that needs to be done. They are responsive and customer service oriented. We will continue to bring our cars to Gages Lake Auto for service.

Here we go! 3:15 on a hot Wednesday afternoon. I'm at UPS and come out to antifreeze leaking on their parking lot. I hot foot it over to my guys at Gages Lake Auto in Lake Villa. Roll in and talk with the lady behind the counter. Ken who is usually their is out back wrenching because they are short handed. He comes out, takes a look, and says if you can hang out he'll call for parts. As soon as one of his guys opens up they'll knock it out. Parts come, I'm fixed and headed down the road in less than an hour!! Does your shop do this for you!? IF YOUR NOT COMING HERE, YOUR GOING TO THE WRONG PLACE- AND PAYING TOO MUCH!!

Amazing service as always

This was the first Tim I went to Ken’s shop with my car and could not be happier. Wonderful people. Kristin was so nice and helpful. Will go again for sure when I need car repair!
