I have brought my automobiles to Gages Lake Auto for two years now and I have always been very satisfied with their work and their honesty. They always check over the car thoroughly and provide you with a full list of things that should be performed on your car to keep it in tip top shape. They work with you as to what you can afford during this service appointment and the car is always ready on the same day. They also have loaner cars available, if you need one while you car is being serviced.

It's actually a pleasure to have your routine car service done here. Who wants to sit around to have the oil/ filter changed-right hardly no one. They have a nice little waiting room. Ken the counter guy is great to talk with. T.V. if you want. Great, fast service DONE RIGHT.

This is the best service that I have ever had. My warning light came on on a Sat. at 2 pm just as the dealers mechanics went home. The car was not safe to safe to drive so I was helpless all weekend not knowing were to go. I was referred to Gages Lake Auto Repair in Lake Villa.. I tries online to schedule an appointment for Monday and it was blocked out as if they were unavailable. I thought...that figures...so I called and left a message. They returned my call 10 minutes before they opened and said bring it in. My vehicle was sage safe enough to drive 6 miles down the road. Excellant service and price. They even drove the vehicle and found that the brakes were going out. They ate are very thorough and professional. I did not lose my afternoon at work as they wben gave me a car to drive for 2 days. I now found an honest mechanic and I will have them do a eval in my daughter's jeep. Highly recommend them as they relieved my stress!
